Install issue localhost:4001 - "anon-proxy" bug ? (was Re: Thank you!)

BINGO!!!!!

i ran synaptic, it was there.  I removed it and had to reboot but my 
clock is now synced and I'll bet that I can reload synaptic also.

Thank you very much!  I hope, one day soon to be as worthwhile on Ubuntu 
and Kubuntu as I am with Windoz.
