    I have d/l the tarball that is supposed to make a kernel module that 
will work. Let me work with the tarball and see if it is possible to put 
this module in Ubuntu. I must say that making a new module and getting 
it into the current kernel is tricky business and to be honest I have no 
idea how to do it.
