7.10 Server error messages at boottime

In response to your message: I have an IBM think center that boots up
normally from off status, but when I try to reboot, I get: "Error 1962. No
operating system found." In Googling that error msg, the one common thing
was that it happened on IBM machines. I turn it off or apply the Vulcan
nerve pinch (C-D-A) and it boots normally. It might be that the wires to
the HDD are placed wrongly, or that the HDD is defective, or ? Keep us
appraised of how you're doing.
