If you decide to give hand coding a try I would recommend the O'Reilly
book HTML & XHTML The Definitive Guide by Chuck Musciano & Bill
kennedy. It is nice to have complete control over your pages and easier
to ensure that pages work the way you want in a variety of browsers.
I personally like GEdit for coding html as it color codes the tags
making errors easy to find.
