Problems with my mouse?

Hi everyone:

I am using Ubuntu 8.04 on a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop along with a
logitech MX 620 Corless laser mouse. I seem to have an ongoing strange
problem. Whenever I am in evolution and click on a message once to view
it in a preview pane, it seems to open up a seperate pop up window
containing the message when that is not what I wanted. Also when I go to
delete a message it will delete two messages at a time sometimes instead
of one and last but not least when I go to click on a new tab in firefox
sometimes it opens up two instead of one. I make sure that I am only
clicking once and that my finger is not left resting on the mouse button
and made sure that my mouse preference slider bar settings were all set
in the middle with the exception of the sensitivity one which is all the
to it's lowest setting but yet I still get this problem. Any
suggestions? Thank you.
