The PPP-Howto I found has you login to a text login and start ppp 
manually perfect since most of the time I will just want a shell 
terminal not a ppp session. I found a possible solution in an old RedHat 
book I am going to play with but anyone who can point me in the right 
direction would be greatly appreciated.
