I got my DVD from HP and over a couple of hours I got Vista
re-installed with all the HP bells and whistles. Right now I am using
GParted to do what I need to so I can re-install Intrepid.
First I observed that (hd0,0) has 99% of the 160 GB hard drive. So I
used GParted to change that to (hd0,0) having 30 GB and then a big
Unallocated 130 GB and then (hd01) which is the on hard drive recover
Vista. I needed to get the Unallocated out from between the 2 partitions
which can only be done by a copy of (hd0,1) to right next to (hd0,0).
This will be done in 30 minutes.
Then I will make sure both windows things still work, and then
install Intrepid again.
