Nautilus: fails to connect to FTP server without explanation: how to debug ?!

Tried it. It keesp asking for the password over and over again. I typed
it 10 times but after a while I give up, click cancel and I get the
expected: "Access denied".

Quite strange since as I said, log-in and PW work just fine with gFTP
or anywhere else.

Well maybe it's time to file a bug report against Nautilus ?
