Anyone tried using gpa on Ubuntu 8.04.1 ?
I loaded it on my school machine (win) and on my primary (Ubuntu)
workstation.
I generated the keys for my email addresses on the win side, exported
them to text,
and tested them in gmail (they seem to have worked).
On the Ubuntu side, however, the interface to gpa opens fine, but when
i selected 'import key' the app hung and the process showed as
<defunct>
I sent both of these keys (using the win box) to keyserver.ubuntu.com
, so I'd really like not to have undo this whole process again. I
imported the keys into firegpg as well, and both responded that the
key had been imported.
Anyone experenced the interface just locking up on Ubuntu ?
