Problems with VPN

Glad yours is working.

unfortunately, mine is not using CISCO vpn. I am certain of this because
the parameters needed are entirely different to the ones from my
provider

When I first set up, I installed both network-manager-openvpn AND
network-manager-vpnc. You are right, the facilities in Network Manager
for handling this are very convenient.

Reading your post, it dd occur to me there might be a conflict, so I
have removed the vpnc stack but still no success.

Anyone out there using PPTP?
