I only go if my wife threatens to stay with me :-)
Regarding other posts about to have a dual-boot or not (Rev you there?);
I've found that keeping a dual-boot WinXPPro is essential for
troubleshooting customer issues. I also have VirtualBox w/Win2K, and it
works well, but you can't test all instances of hardware, serial port
devices, etc., in the Win plug & pray environment in a VM as you can
with a dual-boot. Also, it just came in handy when trying to figure out
Demetry's issue with attempting to run umenu.exe from the Ubuntu DVD.
Yes, I tried it in Vbox and got the same error, but in order to make
sure that it wasn't a Vbox issue I rebooted into WinXP to test as well.
Unfortunately I think that uninstall for the OS probably won't happen.
But someone mentioned here awhile back that it would be nice to be able
to right-click an application from the Applications menu have an option
to click and uninstall an application; now I'd definitely vote for that.
