This is not my thread, but I'll briefly outline my wifi "performance"
after the upgrade to hardy: I rarely have higher connection speeds
than ~10KByte/s, if I get a connection at all. Using Windows I can
fully use my 13MBit line and get an acceptable >1000Kbyte/s. I don't
have Ethernet cables in my flat / I have no switch to connect them to
without getting everybody else off the net, so thats no option for me.
I tried different distros including Fedora, Ubuntu Hardy 32 Bit (I use
64 Bit) and Ubuntu Intrepid 64 Bit. I have yet to find a fast
connection. I'm ready to open a bottle of champaign when I see an
update downloading with more than 20 KByte/s....
But this is not my thread, so I'll just shut up at this point.
