Eventually, from http://mcentral.de/wiki/index.php5/Em2880, I notice
that 'modprobe em28xx' is not enough for this particular device to
work. 'modprobe em2880-dvb' is what is needed. Because the current
kernel does not have this module (it has em28xx), I have to build
v4l-dvb-kernel from source, install, reboot.

However, kaffeine still does not work. It list the DVB device as 'LG
Electronics LGDT3303 VSB/QAM Frontend' but without a source. Channel
scan does not work.

Me-tv does not work out of box either because it can not read
channels.conf it creates during channel scan. Fortunately, after
adding me-tv repository to my apt-get list and install the latest
version of me-tv, it works!

Now, I need to figure out what 'card type' this card is in myth-tv...
