MailScanner problem

Hi,

I am starting fresh with server 8.04 64bit version.

I installed mailscanner, and I was having trouble with it, and I told
that I should un-install it and install a newer version because the
version that comes with 8.04 is about a year out of date.

so I tried to un-install it, and there was an error:

# apt-get remove mailscanner

I found that this is a known bug, but how do I fix this?
