local mail for cron etc.

Hi,

I've installed Hardy beta after using Debian. Everything is OK and I
like it but I miss a feature. The system used to sent my e-mails from
cron etc. through local delivery. Something like "... I've done this and
this and everything's OK. Take care, pal..." ;)

/var/mail is empty on Hardy and anybody doesn't sent me a message. What
is Ubuntu way to turn the feature on?
