Hi Sandy,
haven't you read my problems exactly regarding what you intend to do ?
With 8.04 with FF 3 Foxmark couldn't being installed !!
Foxmark complained to be for an elder FF !!!

I assumed installing FF 2 I could overcome this hurdle and
with help I was able to install FF 2.0.0.13 (not 2.4) to retry my
effort:

All 7 FF extensions were failing to install !!! ;-((

Ubuntu 7.10 and FF 2.0.0.13 = NO problems ;-)
Ubuntu 8.04 Beta with FF 2.0.0.13 plus FF3 = ALL extension not
installable ;-(

You are right: Foxmark is quite vital if one works in different
locations,
with different systems and OS'es !!!

Cheers, svobi
