None of that matters to people, sadly.

This is a generation of people that are told how wonderful and special they
are, that rules don't apply to them.  It's a society of "It's someone else's
fault" or "I'll do what I want, stop forcing your way upon me".  Their moms
have told them for years how amazingly unique they are...so they are left
without the tools one uses to adapt and interact in a social setting...they
expect everything and everyone else to bend and adapt to them...after all,
they're gracing us with their presence.  We should be thanking them,
actually.

There is no accountability or responsibility anymore.  Everyone has a sense
of entitlement and they don't have to listen to anyone else.

The perfect example of this is the poster who replied "If there is a
standard or some kind of rule in place, I'll just do the opposite".

It's all really, really sad.
