Uninstalled core-utils

I mistakenly removed the core-utils using adept-manager :(

Unfortunately realized that I removed the whole operating system. It
is a shame that such a major action does not have enough WARNINGS. Now
only memtest option is available at the bootloading.

Anyways, I believe I need to reinstall it. Does anybody know whether I
lost all the settings, esp. webserver related ones? What about mysql
data? Before installing ubuntu from scratch, I wanted to make sure if
there is something else that I can do to recover.
