Ubuntu will not boot

Did you hard-boot your system via live-CD or just boot from running Win
system? If you booted from live-CD, maybe you should try text-mode
installation. Sometimes GUI doesn't work well because it won't give you
any error message which is very important if you want to solve the problem.
