Hardy upgrade without Firefox 3

Strange, because my clean install of beta-1 just gave me FF3 by default.
FF2 is still in the repos but I am unsure as to how it would co-exist
with 3. Or do I remove 3 and install 2? Would this keep my
bookmarks/plugins/themes etc?
