Why do you think there is both an option to check the download *and*
to check the CD?

That means it's a bad burn. It happens. That's /why/ there's a CD check option!

Burn it again. If you keep getting bad burns, try a lower speed, or
try branded media. If that doesn't work, you might need a new CD
burner. In my experience they tend to wear out dramatically sooner
than plain old CD-ROMs.
