I have the same problem: Ubuntu 7.04 does not recognize the USB Flash Card.
This is the dump of dmesg:
[ 1928.916000] usb 4-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
[ 1929.836000] usb 4-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

[ 1929.968000] Initializing USB Mass Storage driver...
[ 1929.968000] scsi0 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
[ 1929.968000] usb-storage: device found at 3
[ 1929.968000] usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning
[ 1929.968000] usbcore: registered new interface driver usb-storage
[ 1929.968000] USB Mass Storage support registered.
[ 1934.968000] usb-storage: device scan complete
[ 1935.080000] usb 4-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
[ 1935.348000] usb 4-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
[ 1935.616000] usb 4-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
[ 1935.884000] usb 4-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
As you see, it doesn't assign a mount (sda1,2...) to device, so where
I mount it?
