Hi "bbop314",

First of all, welcome to the list and welcome to Ubuntu. I hope you have
a great deal of fun with it. I'd recommend you put your name or at least
a pseudonym (nickname).

Secondly, the problem is that the live CD doesn't seem to be able to
recognise your graphics chipset. For this reason I would try the
following:

* From the LiveCD menu, select "safe graphics mode", you'll have a lower
resolution on the live CD desktop, but it will more likely work.

* Alternatively you may have to download and install the alternate CD.
This has no graphical interface for the installer, and may be a little
more difficult to use (but not substantially so) but it doesn't rely on
being able to find a driver for the X server on the installer.
