Mounting Windows share

Hi
I also had problems mounting a samba share using CIFS. I changed the
smbmnt and related commands to suid root but this was not the correct
approach. What I had to do was to assure that the chosen mount point was
owned by myself (only user on this system) and removing the suid bits.
This works OK.
I have only a problem when my system would be used by more users, what
should the mount point have as ownership?
