Network Admin and buggy driver/hardware interaction

Sounds like you've done about as much as anyone could. You  (or someone you 
know) may be able to write a script to automate the procedure, I'm not sure 
when it comes to straight hardware issues. But take heart, wireless/wired 
combos are tricky even at the best of times. I know plenty of folks using 
windows who have to disable, re-enable and do the hokey-pokey to accomplish 
the same task.
