Color Profile setting !

I'm pretty clueless about color profiles, but I recently read a thread
about them on the X.org mailing list, and two tools were mentioned:

  xcalib -- http://www.etg.e-technik.uni-erlangen.de/web/doe/xcalib/
  dispwin -- http://www.argyllcms.com/doc/dispwin.html

Neither appears to be packaged for Ubuntu.

apt-cache search color profile also shows a couple of interesting
packages:

  lprof - Hardware Color Profiler
  icc-profiles - ICC color profiles for use with Scribus, Gimp, CinePaint, and
