In Fresh install of 7.10, can't get working: 1) dual-monitor setup and 2) high resolution

I've got a Sapphire x550 and I'm running into this bug:

Seems the Screens and Graphics applet is buggy.  Gotta wait for Gutsy+1 
before this is fixed.  :(

This is particularly annoying as I had a perfectly working dual-head 
display.  That'll teach me to read release notes before upgrading.
