Wireless card stopped working immediately after upgrading 7.04 --> 7.10

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the tip. I looked through Synaptic for both 'firmware' and
'acx' and didn't find anything relevant. However, I did find the
following couple webpages relating to this problem:

Someone posted a driver that supposedly works, but I'm hesitant to
install some random driver off a message forum.
I wonder if this is something to expect the Ubuntu team to address, or
should I go out and buy a new wireless card, or try the driver posted on
that forum?
