Question about effects and 7.10

You could install compizconfig-settings-manager, start it (Alt-F2, ccsm;
or via the System -> Preferences menu -> Advanced Desktop Effects
Settings) and check whether the "Window Decoration" plugin is enabled.

Oh, right, I asked ccsm to switch to flat-file configuration backend a
while ago.  (I wanted to have different shortcuts in metacity and in
compiz).
