gnome deaths temporarily

Hello Steve,

Thank you very much for your attention. I am sending the (compressed) files
you asked me. I added too the file "troubleshooting" that was created with
the rule "*.debug".

Yes, you are right: the machine hangs for a few minutes where it is
completely unresponsive (it did happened just now and I tried to connect via
ssh to it from other computer, but got no answer). After that, it returns
without reboot (the gnome session just continues from where it was).

Dates and times when it happened (and can be found in the files): Oct 13
11:04; Oct 14 14:38; Oct 14 14:58 .
