You won't, not out of the boy anyway. Gutsy's default 3D-desktop
solution uses AIGLX, which needs the composite extension, which is still
not supported by the proprietary ATI driver (AMD promised improvement in
the the future).

You can, however, use the alternative solution and install Xgl, which
will work, I used it in Feisty. The help page is out of date though, and
does not work for Gutsy:
