Installing Ubuntu from floppy disk?

hrmmm
Depending on the size of the drive, you could -
max the ram in the machine (please, god, make it be at least to 256Mb)
if it isn't you can always still find RAM doublers out there
somewhere...
Add a NIC card to the machine.
P2P a *good* machine to it
do a remote install...

Might that do the trick?

(of course, graphics might be a bit of work to get a GUi running, flux is mighty light)
