(New to Kubuntu/ Linux) Update/ upgrade difficulties Thunderbird.

Hey NoOp, guess this is technically hijacking a thread but I just wanted
to thank you for this "how to" as I had the same problem after upgrading
to gutsy even though I had 2.0.0.9 in feisty, but the upgrade was
problematic. Your instructions worked flawlessly. Thanks and keep up
the good work,
