Well I have tested this D-Link DWL 120R (not listed on their site)
just about every way I can.  Even booting the laptop with OS10.3 live CD
it is seen as a wired device not wireless.  An Oranoco works fine.  The
only other place it worked was on my P4 with Suse 10.0 on which Ill test
it one last time.

It could be a disappeared driver, a bad cable or the device just up and
died.  At least the company has an office in a nearby city.
