Do i need to establish a dialup connection?

Hi Bakut,
I'm no expert on Ubuntu linux, networks, DUN or
broadband.  But, the first thing you need to do, if
you haven't, is call up your ISP tech service people
and ask them.  Ive never heard of a dial up broadband
service; even DSL is via a NIC or wlan adaptor. Your
ISP should give you all the necessary info, including
use of DHCP or static IP addresses and in general tell
you how to set up the service.  When you get your
ISP's  instructions and still can't set it up, then
come back with all the available set up info then
someone may be able to help you. But in any case, your
ISP DSL broadband set up is your ISP's responsibility
although some wont support Linux OS they should give
you all the necessary information.
