Feisty/openoffice missing libgcc version GCC_4.2.0

Whenever I try to launch an openoffice application, I get the
following:

  /usr/lib/openoffice/program/javaldx: /usr/local/lib/libgcc_s.so.1:
  version `GCC_4.2.0' not found (required by
  /usr/lib/libstlport.so.5.1) 

  /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin:
  /usr/local/lib/libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_4.2.0' not found
  (required by /usr/lib/libstlport.so.5.1) 

  ** (process:8658): WARNING **: Unknown error forking main binary /
     abnormal early exit ... 

Apparently I'm not the first one to see similar problems, but I can't
find an answer.

Apparently there has never been a gcc-4.2.0 in feisty.  Can anyone
help?
