LAUNCHED APPLICATIONS NOT APPEARING ON TASK BAR

Hi all!

I've been experiencing a strange problem after an upgrade from Feisty to
Gutsy.

Now, when I launch an application it does not show down on the taskbar.
The only way to switch between running applications is using "Alt +
TAB".

It's to annoying.

Any idea anyone?
