Microsoft *finally* got less "possessive" and dropped the "My" crap in
Vista. But there are hidden symlinks from the old to the new for
software computability.

This "My" stuff has always been a peeve of mine with some Linux distros
as well (e.g. SUSE/openSUSE).  I didn't like it in Windows and I don't
like it in Linux, either.

I know for a fact that Fedora and Mandriva have them now. I think it's a
freedesktop.org thing.
