ubuntu 7.10 live cd does not boot on new system

Hi Glenn

It wont boot at all? If this is the case maybe the cd is the prob. Or maybe 
the bios isnt set to boot from the cd drive? On some systems where the live 
cd wont boot the alternate cd works to install ubuntu. Possibly you may need 
the alternate cd to install
