ethernet connection

Hi

I have ubuntu 7.10.

I want to connect through an ethernet connection. The internet provider told me it is DHCP and gave me two DNS servers addresses.

I do not succeed to connect. What should I do? I do succeed to connect wireless to other providers. But I do not know how to configure the ethernet connection.
