I appreciate your help, NoOp! Now my monitor runs on 85Hz... (Not
100Hz, as in Windows, but why?)

However, the interesting thing is even if I restore things in
xorg.conf to the original

Section "Monitor"
	Identifier	"Generic Monitor"
	Option		"DPMS"
	HorizSync	30-70
	VertRefresh	50-160
EndSection

I can use the 85Hz refresh rate. Strange, but nice.

How is it possible?

Anyone know the answer?
