Problem with Archiving .tar

So?  If you won't _try_ it with the command line and tell us what happens,
how are we supposed to help?  I absolutely agree this should work from the
GUI, and I wouldn't dream of doing it in the CLI for normal use, but you
aren't helping us help you.
