Adding a Kernel

Hi,

Is it possible to work in Feisty with Edgy's kernel in order to work around
the Canon Lide 20 issue?

Maybe replace the libusb version?

I installed Feisty as a new install, not an upgrade, so I don't have it in
the list...

Any thoughts appreciated.
