Hi all i almost crashed my gnome trying to run the 3d desktop that came with ubuntu (and also, the beryl i downloaded from the ubuntu repositories). So i booted into root via recovery mode, uninstalled all the fancies and now im wondering if there is a page out there that has a list of video cards that xgl/beryl supports? --cj
