Trying that as a fix for my sound problem, on Breezy, make complains of a
missing file t-ja.gmo in alsaconf/po/:
Making all in po
make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/alsa-utils-1.0.14rc4/alsaconf/po'
mv: cannot stat `t-ja.gmo': No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [ja.gmo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/alsa-utils-1.0.14rc4/alsaconf/po'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/alsa-utils-1.0.14rc4/alsaconf'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
I'll try going back some versions, for this to build on Breezy. Maybe
the build failure would be of more general interest if it were on a more
recent ubuntu version?
I just need Mic capture to work with Intel HDA (Realtek ALC260 chip).

Erik
