Hi cj

Thx for the feedback. I've had feisty on this laptop for nearly 2 weeks now 
and it didn't start till after the incident with the cat. That's why I didn't 
rule out the possibility. I only need turn my back for a sec before she lays 
on the kbd LOL

Apart from that I've noticed the same as you've mentioned. Only upon boot does 
it do this. And only on my laptop. The other pc doesn't do it. And yet it's 
3d with nvida support is working while not on this laptop.  But that's 
another story and an issue I'm aware of after searching the net which I hope 
the guys at ubuntu figure out soon ;)
