Screensaver hangs

Perhaps some of the random screensavers are causing the problem. I had a
similar problem previously;  System|Preferences|Screensaver and then
went through each one. I found that some of them froze the screen, or at
least slowed it to a crawl & affected the mouse movements. Sundancer2
was one, SpirographX another + a few more. You can remove the ones that
cause problems, or simply select a prefered one that works.
