Subject: internet not working

hi a few minutes ago, i`ve installed the final version of kubuntu 7.04.
the problem is that i can not connect to internet, i have a DSL modem and
its connected by ethernet to the pc, i try with the live cd too, but i cant
connect any more.
This kind of situation is new, before, in the previous vesions (including
7.04 Beta) i used just installed the linux and the internet were already
up.

Whats the problem with 7.04?

i have winXP too, configured by auitomatic by DHCP, and its working OK.
