It is in the repos up through Edgy, and will not be for Feisty.  As
mentioned before, v1.0 is not developed actively anymore, but it has
been picked up by another developer, see kompozer.net.  It looks like
Linspire (trademark holder) will be allowing KompoZer to become Nvu
1.1, which is intended to be mainly bugfixes.  This will fill the gap
until the original developer finishes the fully reworked replacement.
I have been in contact with the KompoZer developer, and was hoping to
get it in the repositories for Feisty, however Ubuntu's schedule
requirements didn't quite line up with where things were at in their
processes on short notice.  I do still plan to build .deb packages for
Feisty, and those will be made available.  Then I'll focus on
Feisty+1.  So, it hasn't gone away, things are just changing.  You can
hit me up with further questions.
