Well, I don't like clear signing, but I was made to understand that
pgp/mime signing breaks some mail clients and causes my messages to be
unreadable.  As for the gnupg version, I'm just using the version in
Ubuntu Edgy.  I haven't upgraded to Feisty yet; I've only tested the live
CD.  I guess I could upgrade now, but I wanted to wait for the final
release.  I do have an open mind if anyone has any suggestions for
either of these points.
